This was photographed in May of 2020 when the buttercups were in bloom. The gold ring that sits on the top of the clear pyramid is one that Sterling had found. He and his sister were hiking through the desert in California to visit a hot spring. Somewhere along the several mile hike of endless gold sand, he spotted this ring half buried. I know how that ring feels, to be plucked up by him out of obscurity.
